Educating Lawyers Without the Zzzs

Well, unfortunately, Emilia Sparrows looked like a better candidate on paper than she was.  Sure, she was prepared for her interview in the sense that she had done some research about the firm and even about me.  But she really did not use her interview time to her advantage.  You should be prepared to explain how your experience and education fits, compliments or enhances those things you learned about the firm and your interviewers.  Use your interview time wisely!

A few conference calls and other billable work completed, I now get to turn to the most promising candidate I had on my schedule this year, Chase Walker.  Excellent grades, excellent resume, this interview should be a breeze, right?
